The Build-Refine-Ship Loop

Vibe coding is iterative. Here's the loop that produces the best results.

Phase 1: Build (1 prompt)

Start with a focused, specific prompt for one feature.

Phase 2: Test (manual)

Use the feature yourself. Find everything wrong.

Phase 3: Refine (2-5 prompts)

Report each issue specifically:

• "The button doesn't work on mobile"
• "The loading state shows briefly then disappears"
• "The form doesn't validate the email field"

Phase 4: Polish (1-2 prompts)

Once the feature works, polish:

• "Add subtle hover animations"
• "Make the spacing consistent with the rest of the app"
• "Add a success toast notification"

Phase 5: Ship

Commit, deploy, move to next feature.

When to Restart vs Iterate

Iterate when the core structure is correct. Restart when the AI fundamentally misunderstood.
