How to Deploy a Bolt.new App: Netlify, Vercel, and Custom Domains

Deploying Your Bolt.new App

Bolt.new gives you a working app. Now you need to get it live. Here's the deployment guide.

Option 1: Netlify (Recommended)

1. Export your Bolt.new project (download as ZIP)
2. Create a GitHub repo and push the code
3. Connect Netlify to your GitHub repo
4. Set build command: npm run build
5. Set publish directory: dist
6. Add environment variables in Netlify dashboard
7. Deploy!

Option 2: Vercel

Same process — Vercel auto-detects Vite projects. Connect GitHub repo and deploy.

Custom Domain Setup

1. In your hosting dashboard, add custom domain
2. Update DNS records at your domain provider
3. Wait for SSL auto-provisioning

Environment Variables

For Supabase-backed apps, add:

• VITE_SUPABASE_URL
• VITE_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY
